PH factor: 8.5 Recipe Ingredients: Cocktail o 1 ½ ounces 1800 Reposado tequila o 1 ounce Aperol o ½ ounce St. Germain liqueur o ¼ ounce fresh lime juice Garnish o lime twist Method: 1. PH factor: 9.0 Recipe Ingredients: Cocktail o 1 ½ ounces Bombay Sapphire gin o 1 ounce Aperol o 1 ounce Lillet Blanc o 1-2 dashes Hella Citrus bitters or to taste Garnish o ¼ grapefruit wheel Method: 1. Stir cocktail ingredients over ice in a mixing glass. 2. Strain into an ice-filled Old Fashioned glass. 3. Garnish with a grapefruit wheel. PH factor: 9.0 Recipe Ingredients: Cocktail o 2 ounces Aperol o 3 ounces prosecco o 1 ounce Fever-Tree Premium Club Soda Garnish o orange slice Method: 1. Stir prosecco and Aperol over ice in a large wine glass. 2. Top with soda. 3. Garnish with orange slice. Remarks: The Aperol Spritz first appeared in the 1950s. PH factor: 8.0 Recipe Ingredients: Cocktail o 1 ounce Ilegal Mezcal o ¾ ounce Aperol o ½ ounce Luxardo maraschino o ¾ ounce fresh lime juice Garnish o grapefruit peel Method: 1. Shake cocktail ingredients over ice. 2. Serve up in a cocktail glass. 3. Express the grapefruit peel over the cocktail and drop it in for garnish. Remarks: Attributed to Phil Ward, this is yet another of the mezcal-based cocktails for which he is held in such high regard. .

PH factor: 9.0 Recipe Ingredients: Cocktail o 2 fresh raspberries o 1 ½ ounces Tullamore DEW Irish whiskey o ½ ounce Aperol o ½ ounce fresh lemon juice o ½ ounce pink grapefruit juice o ½ ounce grenadine o 1-2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters or to taste o 1 splash of Fever-Tree Premium Club Soda Garnish o lemon peel and raspberry Method: 1. Love Potion
PH factor: 9.0 Recipe (Serves Two) Ingredients: Cocktail o 4 ounces Flor de Caña Extra Seco rum o 2 ounces Aperol o 4 ounces pineapple juice o 2 egg whites (optional but suggested) Method: 1. Shake cocktail ingredients without ice. 2. Add ice and shake again to chill. 3. Fine strain into two cocktail glasses. Remarks: The combination of Aperol and pineapple is one we haven’t had before. It does take some getting used to. At least three sips. . . .

PH factor: 9.5 Recipe Ingredients: Cocktail o ¾ ounce Ilegal mezcal o ¾ ounce Aperol o ¾ ounce yellow Chartreuse o ¾ ounce fresh lime juice Method: 1. Shake over ice. 2. Serve up in a cocktail glass. Remarks: This is a cocktail that definitely deserves a second look. It is an another drink from Death & Co. attributed to Joaquín Símo. It is both pretty and delicious. Who can ask for more? . . .


Morrison Mule
PH factor: 9.0 Recipe Ingredients: Cocktail o 1 ½ ounces Woodford Reserve bourbon o ½ ounce Aperol o ½ ounce fresh lime juice o 4 ounces Fever-Tree Premium Ginger Beer Garnish o ½ half orange wheel or lime wheel Method: 1. Combine in an ice-filled copper mug. 2. Stir to chill. 3. Garnish with orange or lime. Remarks: Created by Benton Bourgeois of the Pontchartrain Hotel’s Hot Tin Bar.
