You may notice that unlike most websites and recipe books we are very specific about the liquors and liqueurs we use. This is solely to allow anyone to duplicate the cocktail exactly as we made it. It's not meant to imply that our bourbon or gin is better than your bourbon or gin, so feel free to substitute your favorite. We do often use top shelf products. That's because we are also making these drinks for ourselves and frankly we think we are worth it.
