Star Anise Simple Syrup

Recipe

Ingredients:

o 1 cup turbinado sugar

o 1 cup water

o 12 star anise cloves

Method:

1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil stirring to dissolve the sugar.

2. Remove from heat and let

steep while mixture cools.

3. Strain into an airtight

container using a paper filter.

4. Seal well and refrigerate.
