Brown Sugar Syrup

Ingredients:

o 1 cup brown sugar

o ½ cup water

o 1 ounce dark rum such as Goslings Black Seal rum


Method:

1. Combine sugar and water in

a saucepan and bring to a boil stirring to dissolve the sugar.

2. Reduce heat and simmer

stirring occasionally until the

mixture reaches a syrup-like

consistency.

3. Remove from heat and let

cool.

4. Add rum and strain into

an airtight container.

5. Seal well and refrigerate.
