Recipe

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o ½ ounce Crown Royal

Canadian Blended whiskey

o ½ ounce Crown Royal

Black Blended whiskey

o ½ ounce Crown Royal

Northern Harvest Blended

whiskey

o ½ ounce Licor 43

(Cuarenta Y Tres)

o ¼ ounce Grand Marnier

o 4 ounces strong hot coffee

Garnish

o lightly whipped cream

o cinnamon stick

o orange zest

Method:

1. Combine cocktail

ingredients in a heated cup

or mug.

2. Top with whipped cream.

3. Garnish with orange zest

and cinnamon stick.

Remarks:

This started as a play on the

words "triple crown". We were

looking for a coffee drink to

toast a horse that we toasted

on Derby Day, at the Preakness,

and at Belmont. That long shot

turned out to be a winner. Of

course, feel free to use your

whiskey or whiskies of choice.
