Ingredients:

Cocktail

o 1 teaspoon of brown sugar

o ¾ ounce Calvados

o ¾ ounce Campari

o splash grenadine

o 5 ounces cold strong coffee

Garnish

o grapefruit peel

Method:

1. Put sugar into cocktail glass.

2. Shake remaining cocktail

ingredients over ice.

3. Pour into the prepared glass.

4. Garnish with grapefruit peel.

Remarks:

This demonstrates how acidity,

as in coffee, acts to tame the

inherent bitterness of Campari.
