Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Ingredients:

o 1 cup water

o ½ cup dark brown sugar

o 5 tablespoons pumpkin

puree

o 3 cinnamon sticks

o 1 whole nutmeg

o 7 whole cloves

o 4 whole allspice berries


Method:

1. Combine water and sugar in

a saucepan and bring to a boil

stirring to dissolve sugar.

2. Add remaining, reduce heat

and simmer stirring for 10 to 15

minutes. Do not boil.

3. Remove from heat and let

cool.

4. Strain into an airtight

container using a paper filter.

5. Seal well and refrigerate.
