Lychee Syrup

Recipe
Ingredients:
o 1 cup canned lychees or
fresh lychees peeled
o 2/3 cup sugar
o 1 cup of water
Method:
1. Combine water and sugar
in a saucepan and bring to a
boil stirring to dissolve sugar.
2. Reduce heat, add lychees
and simmer stirring until the
mixture reaches a syrup-like
consistency.
3. Remove from heat and
press the lychees to release
the juices and let steep for at
least one hour.
4. Strain into an airtight
container using a paper filter.
5. Seal well and refrigerate.
