Chai Syrup

Recipe


Ingredients:

o 1 cup water

o 1 cup sugar

o ½ teaspoon whole allspice

o ½ teaspoon black peppercorns

o ½ teaspoon whole cloves

o 12 green cardamom pods

o 1 cinnamon stick

o 2 star anise cloves

o 3 tablespoons minced

fresh ginger

o 1 teaspoon pure vanilla

extract


Method:

1. Combine sugar and water

in a saucepan and bring to a

boil.

2. Reduce heat, add

remaining ingredients and

simmer stirring occasionally

until the mixture reaches a

syrup-like consistency.

3. Remove from heat and let

cool.

4. Strain into an airtight

container using a paper filter.

5. Seal well and refrigerate.
