Asian Summer Martini

Recipe

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o sugar

o 1 ½ ounces Grey Goose vodka

o ½ ounce Amaretto Lazzaroni

o ½ ounce Dry Curaçao

o ½ ounce Simple Syrup

(see: Syrups etc.)

o ¾ ounce fresh lime juice

o 1 dash Hella Ginger bitters

Garnish

o star anise

o 2 drops sesame oil

Method:

1. Moisten the rim of a

martini glass with lime juice

and invert it into a shallow

dish of sugar to coat the rim.

2. Shake remaining cocktail

ingredients over ice.

3. Strain into the prepared

glass.

4. Lightly grate a pod of star

anise over the cocktail and

drop the pod into the glass

for garnish.

5. Add two drops of sesame

oil to complete the tableau.

Comments:

Interesting. Smells of sesame

oil. Tastes of Curaçao and

lime. It is delicious on its own

and very good with food.
