Apple Strudel & Brandy Cocktail

Recipe
(Serves Two)
Ingredients:
Cocktail
o sugar
o 1 cup apple cider
o 2 cinnamon sticks broken
o 3 ounces Hennessey VS cognac
o 2 ounces Lazzaroni amaretto
o 2 ounces Blandy's 5-year-old
Malmsey Madeira
o 2 ounces orgeat syrup
o 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
Garnish
o 2 dried apple slices
Method:
1. Moisten the rim of two large
cocktail glasses and invert each
into a shallow dish of sugar to
coat the rims.
2. Combine cinnamon and
cider in a saucepan and bring
to a boil then turn off the heat
and let cool.
4. When ready to mix drinks
combine the cider and the rest
of cocktail ingredients with ice
in a cocktail shaker and shake
to chill.
5. Strain into the prepared
glasses.
6. Garnish with dried apple
slices.
Remarks:
This could certainly be called
a dessert cocktail but one that
should be enjoyed whenever
your need for strudel arises.
