A Smokin’ Hot Thyme Cocktail

Recipe

Ingredients:

Cocktail

o 1 ½ ounces Johnnie Walker

Black Label scotch

o ½ ounce Ilegal mezcal

o ¾ ounce agave nectar

o ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice

Garnish

o charred lemon wheel

o thyme sprig

Method:

1. Using a torch, char a lemon

wheel and invert the glass over

it to contain the smoke.

2. Shake cocktail ingredients

over ice.

3. Serve up in the prepared

glass.

4. Garnish with charred

lemon wheel and thyme.

Comments:

First thought: This is sweet and

fruity.

Second thought: Mmm, this is

sweet and fruity!

The charred lemon doesn’t add

much smokiness, but it looks

good floating there.
